Make a Living, Craft a Life. The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding is a non-profit, post-secondary school committed to providing students a quality education in real world problem-solving. Programs offered include a full-time 12-month Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in Traditional and Contemporary Wooden Boatbuilding, a 6-month Comprehensive Diploma Program in Marine Systems, and 5-day Marine Systems Intensives for industry professionals and boat owners. Our programs are accredited through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Financial aid and veterans GI Bill education benefits available for 12-month and 6-month programs for those who qualify.
